One of the hardest things I found with training for this longer distance race was recovery. After the long runs on Saturdays, I found a couple of things that are really helpful for me. Continue reading “Post-Race Lessons”
I did it!! I finished my first 10k race!!
I could have done this without the support of my running group. While I do have good self discipline and self control, training for this run, I knew I needed the accountability of a group. Continue reading “I did it!”
Hey there friends! So it’s been a crazy month / six weeks. Starting the new job, moving and joining the running group has made for a kind of ridiculous schedule.
