Done! (again!)

As of last week, I finished the 2 month program of Hammer and Chisel!

YAY!

And I’m going to to totally honest: I can’t SEE much of a difference. I know that there is a huge difference in my strength, because I kept bumping up my weights, but I was hoping to see a little more definition, and it just didn’t really happen. I really thought that with my diet of such limited sugar, that I would be able to see results. I didn’t follow the eating plan, but I am already able to control my portions. My plan is to keep doing the program while adding in running, and I think definition will come in time. Thankfully, I’m patient when it comes to fitness. Continue reading “Done! (again!)”

Updates

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been a little too busy. I realized that I might have bitten off a little more than I can chew for the first month of the new year. Unfortunately, one of the many changes I made had to be cut, and sadly, it was my yoga practice. While the previous two months I was able to do two-a-days twice a week, I was having a hard time making myself do a second “workout” every day. I’m trying to figure out how to reorganize my day to put yoga back in, but for now, I’m taking a short break. Continue reading “Updates”

Happy New Year!

Happy happy new year to you and your friends and families!

It’s the time of year for New Year’s Resolutions.  For the past week or so, I’ve been thinking about resolutions I want to set for myself.  But then I saw a post on Facebook that said something to the effect of, “Set Goals, not Resolutions.”  I have to say, I agree wholeheartedly.
